Some companies build pools. Preston Pools builds legacies. For over twenty years, we have been entrusted with designing and constructing some of the most ambitious residential pools in the North of England, projects that demand precision, imagination, and an unwavering commitment to getting every detail right.

What began as a specialist pool construction business has grown into one of the most respected teams in the industry. But reputation is a reflection, not a motivation. What drives us is something simpler: the belief that a bespoke pool should be built exactly as it was envisioned without compromise, without shortcuts, and without a single detail overlooked.

Preston Pools is not a one-man operation with a network of subcontractors. We are a dedicated team of eighteen specialists, designers, structural engineers, project managers, and skilled tradespeople all working under one banner. With nine fully equipped vehicles on the road, we have the capacity and the expertise to manage every stage of your pool project in-house.

This matters because it means one team owns your project from the first sketch to the final commissioning. There are no gaps in communication, no handovers between strangers, and no compromises driven by third-party availability. I started Preston Pools back in 1999 with a single van and a straightforward belief: that every pool I put my name to should be one I’m proud of. In those early years, I focused on servicing and repairs getting to know the industry from the inside, understanding what worked, what lasted, and what didn’t.

As the company grew, so did the ambition. I moved into new-build pools and refurbishments, and with every project, the same principle held: do it properly, do it once, and make sure the client is as proud of the finished result as I am. That’s never changed.

Today, Preston Pools is an eighteen-strong team with nine vehicles on the road, and we’ve delivered thousands of bespoke projects across the North of England. But the measure of success has always been the same; every pool is built to the standard I’d want in my own home, and every client knows their project has my name behind it.
