Mark approached Preston Pools to create a pool hall of pure excellence — a statement indoor space finished to the final detail, complete with a glass-walled steam room and a feature wall, and famously sharing the room with a Lamborghini Aventador in its own glass display case.
A 14m constant-depth level-deck pool, a basalt-stone spa, a glazed steam room and a glass-and-copper feature wall all had to coexist in one room without competing. Maintaining a constant 1.2m depth across a 14m span, and integrating a waterblade through a glass copper tile wall, demanded precise engineering and finishing.
We built a 14m × 4.5m level-deck pool at a constant 1.2m depth, finished in our Gin Fizz tile with basalt volcanic-rock top-edge stone carried through into a 2.5m square level-deck spa with custom-cut drainage slots. The far wall houses a waterblade through glass copper tile, beside a glass-walled steam room.
The finished hall is pure excellence to the final detail. A two-tone matt-and-gloss stretched vinyl ceiling with ultra-modern recessed LED lighting completes the room, the glass-walled steam room opens to pool and garden, and the copper-tile waterblade wall gives the space its showpiece — a fitting companion to the Aventador alongside.
