Imran’s Pool – Whitefield

Imran approached Preston Pools for an indoor pool that looks like a sleek, sophisticated piece of art but delivers a world of fun beneath the surface. The brief combined a striking artistic aesthetic with serious family enjoyment — multiple water features, a sauna and a steam room within one cohesive pool hall.

Packing four water features, a swimjet, an airpad, a sauna and a steam room into a single hall — without it feeling busy — took careful planning. The large-format feature wall had to run from ceiling to pool base around a metre-wide waterblade, while the stretched ceiling needed to wrap roof steels and admit natural light.

We built a 10m × 4.5m level-deck pool graduating from 1.2m to 1.8m, with a central airpad, a poolside cobra-head fountain and a counter-current swimjet. A 2.3m square level-deck spa sits offset with steps behind. The matt white stretched vinyl ceiling wraps the structural steels to let upper-window light spill in.

The finished pool reads as sleek art with a playful heart — the Jackson Pollock–style feature wall and metre-wide waterblade anchoring the room. A glass-fronted steam room with a backlit translucent ceiling and a glass-fronted sauna complete a full wellness suite the whole family uses.
